Posted January 16, 2018 06:31:46Thailand’s largest movie theater, Coraline, is now offering movie tickets online.
The theater has been offering a movie ticket voucher for about two months, said Chingthai Wongkha, a spokeswoman for Coraline.
The cinema is one of Thailand’s most popular movie-going spots, according to the country’s government.
The film-going frenzy has been a boon for Thailand’s economy and tourism industry, Wongkhas office said.
It also has boosted tourism by more than $50 million to about $300 million.
But the government is warning people not to buy tickets online without checking their bank statements.
The cinema’s website says customers can check their account balance, which can be found in the “Account Information” section.
But Wongkhas office said the movie ticket will not be mailed to the customer.
“We have not received any customer complaints,” Wongkhs office said in an emailed statement.
“If you are interested in a Coraline ticket, you can request one through our website,” the statement said.
Coraline has become popular with young people in Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, who often watch a movie together and enjoy free food and drink.
The government has been working to boost the economy by opening cinemas and other businesses to attract new moviegoers, particularly by offering discounts on movies and music.
It is also boosting investment in movie theaters by giving tax breaks to movie makers, said Samsang Nam, the head of the Center for International Economic Studies in Bangkok.
The government is also pushing to get more tourists to go to movies.
The movie industry in Thailand is expected to generate $1.5 billion in 2017, according the Tourism Ministry.
