We are excited to announce the winners of the 2016 Summer Movies Festival in Denmark.
From November 11th until December 6th, there will be over 2,000 movies, including the latest releases from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and other studios, from some of the most popular films from the past 20 years.
The film festival also features films from all over the world, with films from Norway, Russia, France, Italy, Spain and many more.
This year, there are more than 1,000 screenings across four days, and there will also be live entertainment including performances by Danish actors, music from Danish singers, a new version of the classic musical “Cats Movie”, and a selection of short films from local independent filmmakers.
The festival has been a great success, with more than 200,000 visitors from 40 countries participating, including some of Denmark’s most renowned film festivals.
“This is really a unique opportunity for us,” said festival director Lina Sørring, “we’re able to showcase our Danish film heritage to people who have never seen it before.
The festival is really the most exciting thing to happen to Denmark for a long time, and it’s something that we’re really looking forward to.”
