With his upcoming movie “The Man from Nowhere” in theaters, director Haramakhor has already been dubbed the next big thing in Philippine cinema.
But what about his other films?
Well, the director says that he is looking forward to releasing the next instalment of his Filipino trilogy, “The Way of the Samurai,” next month.
And, while the first film will focus on the characters and plotlines of Haramukhor’s own life, the second installment will focus more on the adventures of a man known as the ‘Tiger of Borneo,’ the former leader of the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) elite, and his companions.
According to Haramakoro, he plans to release the third installment, “Rambo,” in November, which will focus a bit more on Haramahor’s exploits as he tries to make it in the film business.
But it’s not just the big movies that he’s looking forward too.
When asked if he’s been looking forward for a long time to working on a new film, Haramaka answered with a laugh, “I’m a little hesitant, but we’re talking about a long, long time.
I feel like I’m doing my part in helping the film industry to advance in the Philippines.
We are all in this together, and I’m really thankful for that.
So I’m very excited to make movies with my friends.”
And, as for the other movies in the Filipino trilogy?
“We are working on another movie called ‘Kung Fu’,” Haramaki added.
“But I don’t know if I will be able to tell you much about it yet, as we are still in the early stages of production.”
